All of your passwords saved in Opera browser can be easily imported to SafePass with the import feature. You can do this in two easy steps:

1. Exporting your passwords from Opera.

2. Importing the data to SafePass using the import feature. All of your Opera passwords will be converted to SafePass logins.

Note: you will need to perform these actions on your computer.

How to export from Opera

First, export your passwords from Opera.

  1. Open Opera and select Settings (gear icon).

  2. Now click Advanced and Privacy & security.

  3. Scroll down until you see the Passwords section. Near Saved Passwords you will find the three dots, click on them.

  4. Click the Export passwords… and then the Export passwords… button. If requested, enter your computer password.

  5. Save the CSV file to your computer.

How to import passwords from Opera to SafePass

To import your passwords from Opera to SafePass, you will need to upload the file you’ve exported from Opera to SafePass using the import feature.

  1. In your SafePass account, open the dropdown menu (near your name) and choose Import.

  2. Select Opera from the options displayed and click Import.

  3. Upload the CSV file with passwords exported from Opera.

  4. At this point you’re able to preview all the passwords that you are importing to SafePass. If you see some discrepancies, you can deselect the items you want to add later on.

Note: make sure to permanently delete the file with your exported passwords after uploading it to SafePass to ensure your data is secure.

 

That’s it! It only takes a couple of minutes to import all of your passwords from Opera to SafePass.
