Your security

is at the heart of what we do.

Our online presence and the weight it carries is increasing every day. From communication, to banking, to work and pleasure - a growing part of our lives is spent online. The keys used to lock and unlock our online lives are passwords. They are the main entry points for every single account we use today. These points must be protected with unique and strong passwords. But given the overwhelming number of accounts you use, it's downright impossible to remember 30+ complex passwords.

That's why you have to keep the keys to your online presence secure. After all, it's not only your personal messages or photos on the line - passwords today protect everything from sensitive client information to business secrets. That's a prime target for hackers who come prepared with multiple ways and tools to attack your data. Recent breach statistics confirm that this is an increasing threat. That’s why SafePass password manager is built with the most secure technologies out there. That’s why every step, every decision we make in SafePass development is focused on safeguarding the security and privacy of your data.

Your password security is our main goal!

End-to-end encryption

AES-256 symmetric encryption algorithm is used for locking down your sensitive data with a new random key every time.

RSA-4096 asymmetric encryption algorithm enables SafePass to lock down your data with a public key and unlock it with a private key that only you have.

These two algorithms combined guarantee that all the data is securely encrypted before it even leaves your device. And it stays that way until you unlock it with your Master Password.

Secure Cloud

SafePass is a cloud-based password manager.

It's hosted in a secure AWS Platform data center. The data center is monitored against environmental conditions and physically secured 24/7. Additional daily backups are also performed.

Transport Layer Encryption (TLS) is an additional security measure enabling extra secure data transfers.

Secure

Authentication

Master Password is used to unlock your private key, which in turn is used to decrypt your data stored in SafePass.

Secure Remote Password (SRP 6A) is a protocol used for user authentication. It allows the user to authenticate with the server without the risk of a malicious entity intercepting the data sent.

Zero-knowledge proof enables the user to demonstrate knowledge of their password without actually revealing it.

Two-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security to the user login process by sending a code to a separate user device. This means that even if somebody stole your primary device and managed to crack down your Master Password, they still wouldn't be able to access your sensitive data.

Secure Sharing

RSA asymmetric encryption is used in password sharing as well. All items are encrypted with a public key and unencrypted with a private user key. This ensures that each user's data is only accessible to its owner.

Permission control ensures that access level can be assigned to every item. This allows you to customize access levels for each item and each person you share the password to.

Centralized blockchain technology is used to enable history tracking in SafePass. Every secure password or note you create in SafePass has its own history log that tracks every change made to the item, so you won't accidentally lose your old passwords. History logs can't be modified, so if somebody you have shared a password with decides to edit it, you will see every change that was made.
