All of your sensitive data stored in SafePass is encrypted all the time. Even SafePass staff cannot view your stored data in our system. The data you keep in SafePass is only decrypted and visible to you once you log in with your Master Password.
That’s why you need to remember your Master Password and keep your Recovery Key somewhere safe.
You can only recover your Master Password and the account with a Recovery Key.
I forgot my Master Password and lost my Recovery Key.
What can I do?
Unfortunately, if you forgot your Master Password and you do not have a Recovery Key, there is no option to fully recover your account. You can only reset your account and create a new Master Password.
Note: after the Account Reset, you will lose all your stored items.
I forgot my Master Password and lost my Recovery Key. Can I reset my account?
To reset your account, follow the instructions below:

Go to SafePass Personal login page.

To reset your account, click Forgot password.

Press Account Reset.

Enter the email address for the account you want to reset.

Check your email inbox. You will receive an email for confirmation. If you have more than one account associated with your email, select the account you want to reset and press on Reset button.

Now you need to create a new Master Password. Make sure to use a unique and strong password. Note: after this step, all your items stored in the account will be lost.

Click Reset Account.

If you do not want to lose your items again, download a Recovery Key and keep it somewhere safe. This is the only method to restore your account without losing data.

Login to your account with a new Master Password.
